Darren Jones - Investigator

Director/Owner of fraudconsultant.co.uk and Arrow Litigation

Darren enjoyed a successful police career working within Essex, Metropolitan, and Kent police services. I was a detective serving on high profile specialist units, including Murder, Rape, Robbery and Fraud. Darren is a very experienced investigator, having been involved with significant investigations securing criminal and civil prosecutions.

One case of note was a multi million pound identity theft and money laundering investigation involving a leading insurance provider: eight defendants were convicted and sentenced totalling in excess of 30 years imprisonment. In recent years he has been successfully involved in the preparation and presentation of Criminal and Civil cases.

I have excellent relationships with Criminal and Civil Solicitors & Barristers.

Awards & Commendations

  • Area Commander Superintendent J Price (Kent Police) presented Darren Jones with a Commander's Commendation.

  • Darren has received two commendations for investigations, commending him for his professionalism and commitment.

  • A Judge paid tribute to Darren Jones on the quality of the case prepared by Darren as the 'officer in the case' involving a multi million pound identity theft and money laundering investigation: the money was obtained from a leading insurance provider.

    £400,000 was recovered by Darren Jones during the investigation and returned to the insurance company.

    The case received national media coverage.
